Travel Grants

EuPA and National Societies offer Travel Grants for students and ECRs for participation in the EuPA 2026 Congress in Würzburg, Germany. EuPA welcomes applications from all PhD/Master students and ECRs.

Eligibility criteria

  • PhD/Master of Science ≤ 7 years (student status to be proven)
  • Submission of an abstract for the Congress
  • Submission of an abstract according to the recommended guidelines.

Priority will be given based on the relevance of the submitted abstract, on gender balance, and on the geographic distribution of the applicants.

Guidelines for abstract preparation for EuPA Travel Grants

When preparing your abstract, please ensure that all of the following sections are included:

Title: max 15 words

Authors & Affiliations underline presenting author
Introduction please give a brief background of the project, presenting what are the aims and why your project is important (max 70 words)
Methods please briefly describe the methods used (max 70 words)
Preliminary data please summarize your results, indicating their level of completeness (max 100 words)
Novel aspect please highlight the novelty of your findings (max 20 words)

Valorisation please explain how your results advance the field and their potential translational value (max 50 words)

Travel Grants offered by EuPA and National Societies

To avoid double funding, EuPA and the National Societies ask applicants to choose whether to apply for the travel grants offered by their National Society (if applicable) or those offered by EuPA.

  • EuPA: 10 Travel Grants of up to 500 EUR
  • French Proteomics Society (FPS): 5 Travel Grants of 500 EUR
  • German Proteomics Society (DGPF): 15 Travel Grants of 400 EUR
  • Proteomics Division of the Hungarian Biochemical Society: 2 Travel Grants
  • Portuguese Proteomics Society (PROCURA): 2 Travel
